RPI is offering the full Ice Rescue Technician–level program, meeting the technical rescue requirements outlined in NFPA 1006 and NFPA 1670. This approximately 20-hour course covers Awareness, Operations, and Technician levels of ice rescue training. Students must be 18 years of age, provide their own PPE, and pre-registration is required. Certificates will be issued upon successful completion. Maximum students: 40 (wait list activated once full)
Registration deadline: February 23, 2026
Cost: $335 per student

Friday evening: sign-in at 6:30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00am – 4:00pm

(Technician-level certification required to register)

This one-day refresher is designed for rescuers who already hold an Ice Rescue Technician certification and are looking to sharpen skills, review techniques, and stay current. Students must be 18 years of age, provide their own PPE, and upload proof of technician-level certification during registration.
Maximum students: 16 (wait list activated once full)
